About Oak Trail Properties

Since the days of Carlton Sheets’ No Money Down kit, I had wanted to own rental properties. But I never took action. Decades later, my first child was born and it changed my mindset. Oak Trail Properties closed on its first rental property almost a year to the day after she was born.

Several years later, Oak Trail Properties is still growing with several units on several properties, various partners, lenders, and investors, and recently successfully expanded into flipping homes (see “recent flip”). OTP would like to increase our volume this year in both rentals and flips and have recently found investors who share similar goals. We are always looking for new properties to buy and new people to work with.

We also aim to support others along our journey and teach about the freedoms and choices that owning real estate can bring. Treating residents, contractors, and clients with respect, working with integrity, and always being open to learning new ways to improve our systems and services is just part of what we are about.
